This has been a long overdue post…. Pics and details from the Abaya Flash Sale, (this one is for you Attiya)
The flash sale was such fun! Alhamdullilah a glorious South African winter sun added the right amount of warmth to welcome beautiful Muslimahs to enjoy a baroque themed day with me.
Our tea oasis was in an opulent setting with touches of baroque accents.
Thank you to all the ladies who patiently braved the rush to get the abaya they loved.
I am so impressed by all the talented ladies out there. This post is a celebration of such talent; I wish to introduce you to gorgeous ladies who certainly embrace entrepreneur empowerment! Each pop-up display was well presented, inviting and displayed the individual lady’s love and passion for what she does.
Meet the ladies:
Farhana and Fazela of Just Good Occasions
0712505338 or 0824667523 respectively
They specialise in floral arrangements and event management. I loved their floral arrangements, such attention to detail with use of exquisite flowers.
Taskeen special mix is definitely addictive…. Trust me 1kg later almost all by myself. This number is one you should keep especially with Ramadaan fast approaching, perfect Ramadaan gifts.
Munira of Designer Essentials
Munira will go the extra miles to make sure your needs are met when it come to customised home décor.

The Sibella range is trendy with unique touches of an African influence! Authentic with style.
Art by Nazeefah
Nazoo_k via twitter
Beautiful canvasses with vibrant colours. MashaAllah. Nazeefah also offers art classes for kids.
Faheemah of Kiducate
I don’t think there was a mother there who was not impressed by the brilliant games for the kids. All with an Islamic emphasis. Indeed a fun way to teach Deen to our little kids.
Salma of Ajmaan
These pin free scarves are of exceptional quality and I love all the trendy prints. What is most amazing is the initiative Salma is running to raise funds for the women and children of Palestine; purchase a “Palestinian” inspired Ajmaan scarf and R50 of the purchase will go towards Gaza. Come on ladies contact Salma and support this wonderful initiative!
Yumna of Le Petit Bon Bon
bbm pin :293F7E3C
What a visual feast! Once you start with Yumna’s Macaroons there will be no stopping.
Naeera with her recently launched book
“Journey to the Valley of Arafat”
Her book highlights her journey to Arafat. Many will relate to her book, it is written from the heart and shares with us her emotions and personal experiences.
Under the beautifully draped marquee, Faaiza and Asfeyah served mouth watering delectable treats
Faaiza had everyone drooling over her cakes. Divine! My favourite was the Tiramisu cake.
Asfeyah served toasted pita tramezzini filled with chicken and cheese served with spiralled potato crisp on a bed of lettuce. She also served piping hot soft fluffy cinnamon churros.
Fatima of Toffee Appelicious.
0114338721 or 0829405040
The best toffee apples you will ever taste! And wow, they come in such funky colours too!
All photographs on the day taken by the talented Rowena of Secrets and Stilettos. Thanks Rowena.
